New Computer

Matt and I bought a new computer! Matt is taking several classes this year online, and we really needed a computer that he could take to school, so we shopped around and ended up at BestBuy. They have some great deals right now on everything for 'Back to School', so we decided that now was as good time. We picked it up tonight after having all of the programs and antivirus installed, and we are really enjoying it, especially the wireless internet! I am actually sitting on the couch in the basement right now writing this blog.

Matt wrote the MCAT today. It is such a tough exam, but I think he did well. This is just another hurdle to getting into Med School, so I really hope that it worked out. It is definately nice to have that done and over with!

I decided this weekend to replace the locks on the front door of the house while Matt was bsy studying. Well, I needed some help with one of the installation plates so I got him to help me. Matt ended up cutting his thumb pretty badly with a knife, and we had to go to the hospital for stiches. The problem was that I had taken the front door apart, so where the lock and handle normally are were just big holes! While Matt was standing above the sink trying to get his thumb to stop bleeding, I was frantically trying to figure out how to put the door back together so that we could leave! I ended up just jamming the door with the old lock and we went to the hospital. Matt got 7 stiches in his left thumb, which is fairly painful. I'm glad that everything is okay now.

We are off to Saskatoon this weekend for Jay and Hilary's wedding. They are getting married on Saturday at the Berry Barn, and it should be a really nice time. It will be nice to see everyone again, and now Devin, Angie, and Ashton will be able to come after all. Molly will be very excited to see all of her cousins again, but we are flying home this time, which will be Molly's first plane ride.I hope everything goes well.
