Welcome to our blog! We wanted to keep a record of our adventures and keep in touch with our friends and family that live in other cities. Matt was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta and Jennifer was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Molly joined our family in January 2007, Caleigh was born in July 2008, and Miller was born in January 2011. Since then, we have been very busy raising our family and having a little fun along the way!

Still no baby...

Well, I have one week of work left until I'm done. It will be really weird to have an entire year off. I haven't been doing a whole lot at work lately anyways as my replacement has started. She has taken over basically everything I do in a day, so there's not much need for me there anymore! Work has put together a really great maternity package for me, and it is nice knowing that they really want me to come back.

Matt has been really busy lately. He has been interviewing with several different medical companies for sales jobs. One company looks promising, and he has met with them several times now. Last Thursday they flew him out to Toronto to meet with the Vice President of the company. I think they would have liked him to stay for a couple of days, but they were really understanding when he explained that I was 9 months pregnant and that he couldn't be gone that long. Unfortunately it meant for a very long day for Matt. He left the house at about 4am, and didn't get back until late that night. Hopefully we will find out tomorrow if he got the job or not. I think he is really ready to leave his position at the hospital and find a new challenging position.

Matt and I took Molly out to the mountains yesterday. It has rained here for about 6 weeks, and the weather is finally starting to get nice. We took advantage of the sunshine and went to Banff. After wandering through town, we took Mollky for a little walk around one of the rivers that runs through town. Matt wanted to try his luck at some fishing, so we drove home the long way and stopped at a pond. We stayed there for about an hour before heading home. All in all, it was a great day.

Well, I think Matt and I (especially me!) are ready for this baby to join us. I have had a couple of episodes of false labor, one of which was last night. We are pretty tired today from being up most of the night. At my last appointment, the doctor said it could be any time between now and 6 weeks from now, which isn't much of a window! The baby is a good size, and my body seems to be getting ready to deliver. Hopefully she decides to come sooner rather than later!

It looks like Matt and I will be coming to Saskatoon with the baby for September Long Weekend. It will be one of our first road trips, which should be fun!

Hope this finds everyone enjoying their summer,
