Still no baby....
Matt and I went to Edmonton for the July Long Weekend. My family went there for my cousin's wedding. Matt and I didn't want to commit too early but we decided a few days before that I was feeling well enough to travel. Matt joined Devin, Angie, Shane and Paige at the water park in the West Edmonton Mall on Saturday while Mom, Dad and I just relaxed at the hotel while Ashton had a nap. Saturday night we all went out to dinner and then had a nice visit at the hotel that evening. In the morning we all went to Uncle Larry's house for brunch before heading home. It was a really nice treat for us!
I also started my Maternity Leave on July 1. The first few days were a little tough as I got pretty bored very quickly. It has been really nice though to be able to nap when I need to, and to be able to go to my appointments easily rather than juggling them into my day. I think Matt and I have everything that we need to bring the baby home! The only thing left to do is pick a name...
Last weekend we had a little scare. I was at home on friday when I injured my back. We spent the night going back and forth to the hospital for pain medication and had to wait until Tuesday to see a specialist. I have been going to physiotherapy three times a week, but they are pretty limited for treatment until the baby has been delivered. We will find out next week if they are going to be able to induce me so that they can treat my back before it gets any worse.
Matt starts his new job next week. It will be great for him, and for our family. He will be working from home from now on, which will be nice when there is a new baby around! He will have to go to Toronto for training sometime in August, and we are going to try to get it so that he can fly out of Saskatoon so that the baby, Molly and I can stay there while he is out of town. Matt talked to his new boss about it last night, so hopefully that will work out.
