Welcome to our blog! We wanted to keep a record of our adventures and keep in touch with our friends and family that live in other cities. Matt was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta and Jennifer was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Molly joined our family in January 2007, Caleigh was born in July 2008, and Miller was born in January 2011. Since then, we have been very busy raising our family and having a little fun along the way!

I'm Still Learning.....
I would like to be able to say that I know how to use our new video camera, but clearly I don't! The video sizes are too big to send via email. I'm sure there's a way to make them smaller, but I have no idea how to do that. Until I figure it our, I thought I would post some videos on our Blog page so that everyone can see them anyway!
Anyway, The first video is of Caleigh sitting. As you can tell, Cals is very interested in Molly. Sorry about the puking at the end. She has a stuffy nose, most likely from teething, so she has been really pukey lately. There is some kind of editing software that came with the camera, but I don't know how to use it.
This video is of Caleigh doing some Tummy Time. Molly tries everyday to get Caleigh to play with her, and doesn't really understand why she won't throw the ball! Molly spends alot of time during the day with Caleigh, and is even joining her for some tummy time!
Matt and I have been fairly busy already this year! Matt left for Jacksonville, Florida on January 3. He was going with work for 7 days for a conference. They stayed at the TPC Sawgrass, and Matt was able to play the Players Course on Sunday, January 4. He had a great time, and even had a personal caddie. He was also able to get a full tour of the course. I think this was the highlight of the trip for him! The remainder of the week was spent in meetings. He didn't even come home with a tan!
Caleigh and I have been taking swimming lessons! We go once a week to the YMCA by our house. The lessons last about half an hour, and they have been really good so far. We sing songs and splash, it is a great opportunity to expose Caleigh to a pool, and get her comfortable in the water. She even went down a slide last week! She really seems to be enjoying it.
Another new development...She is sitting on her own now! She can't push herself into a sitting position, but if you sit her up, she will stay for quite a while. I can't believe how big she is getting!
Matt and I are getting ready for our trip to the Domincan. We are very excited to escape the cold weather for a week and soak up some sun! We are very thankful to Mom and Dad, Angie, and Paige for watching Caleigh while we're gone! I am really nervous about leaving her behind, but I know that it must be nerve-racking to leave your child for the first time, no matter how old they are! I just hope that I am able to realx enough to actually enjoy my time on the beach. We are leaving for Saskatoon on Tuesday so that we can get Cals settled before we leave, and we're planning on spending a couple of days in Saskatoon after our trip to relax before we drive back to Calgary. It will be really great to see Devin & Angie's new house too! I still can't believe they have actually moved to Saskatoon.
