Long time no hear......

I thought I would post a picture of one of the cutest little guys I know!

I know it has been a long time since my last update, Matt and I have been so busy lately. He is back in school full swing, and things at work have been crazy for me.

Matt started his last year of his undergrad! I think he is really excited to close this chapter of his life, and very ready to face the next chapter. He is taking a few online classes this term, which allows for quite a bit of flexability in his schedule. He only needs 7 classes to graduate, so he is also able to take a few classes that may help him with Med School. Matt is still working at the hospital. He was promoted to a new position, but he liked his old position better so he may try to get his old job back! He has been trying to adjust to the new job, but I think he really misses the patient contact he had with his old job.

Matt and I have continued doing renovations on the house. It is starting to look pretty good! Unfortunately, we left some of the most expensive things to the end. We still have to do the appliances, upstairs carpet and countertops. I guess we'll just have to take our time...

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! We went to Kristin and Tony's for dinner on Saturday night. It was great! Dinner was fantastic, as always, and we had a great time. Sunday night, we went to our friends Andy and Nats for dinner. They put on a great spread, and Colby has grown alot since we saw him last.

Mom and Dad came to Calgary for a visit! It was so good to see them again. They had not been to our house since we took possession in April, so there was quite a few changes for them to see. Unfortunately, Matt and dad go tinto a little trouble on Saturday. Mom and I went to do a little shopping, and Matt and Dad made their way to Rona. By the time Mom and I got home, they were in the process of building a bar in the basement! Nice. They were pretty proud of themselves, and it actually looks pretty good! We spent the weekend catching up, and enjoying some much needed time together. Everyone was a little sad to see them go, and Molly was very upset to see Shadow go home. Molly never did catch on that Shadow didn't want anything to do with her!

Other than that, nothing too exciting going on. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!
