Things around our house are finally starting to settle down. Caleigh is settling into a really good sleep pattern, which is a huge relief for us! She generally sleeps 5 to 7 hours at night before waking for a feed, and has 3 good naps during the day. This has made a world of difference for Matt and I! She is feeding really well, taking a bottle as well as breastfeeding. She has been having some tummy problems recently, and was diagnosed with colic last week. This has been a little tough to deal with, but it is definitely a lesson in patience for us! Thankfully it is only a couple of evenings a week that she struggles with this. She is a little over 9 pounds now, so she is gaining weight steadily, which is great.
Matt has been really busy with his work lately. He travelled to Toronto at the end of August for a week for training. He did manage to go to a Blue Jays/Red Sox game and a tour of the Hockey Hall of Fame while he was there. He also went to Victoria for a few days. He stayed in a beautiful hotel downtown and close to the ocean. He had a great time, and was able to visit Nicole while he was there. I think he is done travelling for a few months, and is really looking forward to 'meetings' in Florida in January!
Caleigh and I spent the week in Saskatoon while Matt was in Toronto getting spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa! We had a great time! Mom didn't have to work the week that I was there. Devin, Angie, Ashton, and Shane were all able to come to Saskatoon for both weekends to spend some time with us. Mom and dad threw us a baby shower while we were in Saskatoon as well. It was really nice to see everyone again, and for Caleigh to meet her entire family!
