Last Day of Winter

Today is the last day of winter! I definitely have a case of spring fever!

On March 8th, Matt, Molly and I went down to Medicine Hat to visit Grandma. She was in the hospital for a few weeks, so we thought we would go down there to see her. We stayed with our friends Dean and Robyn and their little girl Lainey. It was great to see them again. On Saturday night, Aaron and Karen came over for dinner, so we were able to see them as well.

Last Thursday, mom and dad came out for a visit. We had a big ultrasound on Friday, and it was nice that they were able to be there for that. Dad had never seen an ultrasound before, and we were all really happy about the results. Everything is good with the baby, and it is definitely a little girl! It seems they are a little worried about placenta previa with me, but there is nothing we can really do about it at this point, just wait and take things easy! We go for more tests and appointments on April 15th.

We had a really good weekend with mom and dad. On Friday mom and I were able to get some shopping done while the guys stayed home and did some homework. On Saturday, mom and I finished the nursury and the guys went to the car show at the RoundUp Centre. We all went to a movie after dinner. It was a very nice, realxing weekend.

Matt and I are going to Saskatoon this weekend for Easter. It will be really nice. Devin, Angie and Ashton will be coming in on Friday, and we haven't seen them since Christmas. It will also be nice to see Grandma again. We are taking Thursday off and leaving early in the morning so that I can sleep in the truck on the way there! It may be a long drive due to frequent stops for my back and my bladder!
