Brrrrrrrr

I hope everyone is staying warm in this recent weather! I don't think it has been this cold in Calgary the entire time I've lived here. Molly doesn't even want to go outside anymore!
This is an ultrasound photo at 15 weeks. We have lots more, but this is a really good profile shot!
Matt and I are going on vacation from February 16-23. We have decided to go to Hope, Idaho. It is a little town just outside of Sandpoint, ID and about an hour away from Spokane WA. Shane and Paige will be joining us for a few days. There are some pretty good mountains in the area for snowboarding, so I'm sure they will get a few days in. As well, the guys are going to spend an afternoon on a guided snowmobile tour of the mountain trails. They are pretty excited about it! I have booked a massage and a pedicure for Matt and I as well. I think this will be a really quiet, relaxing vacation, which is exactly what we need right now!
We do have another reason for heading State-side. The shopping down there is excellent! We have been looking around for some nursery pieces, as well as a stroller and carrier. The prices in Canada are very high for quality items, but in the US the prices are much better. We thought we would take advantage of the Canadian dollar being so strong (about par with the US dollar) and do some shopping! We are very excited to get the nursury finished.
Matt and I have a big ultrasound on Friday, February 15. This ultrasound will be conducted at the Prenatal Genetics clinic, and is a very comprehensive scan. We will be able to find out the sex of the baby, as well as making sure that little one is developing properly. We are very excited to confirm that baby is healthy!
Matt has been very busy with school lately. He has also been looking at possible job opportunities for April when he is done is degree. I think he is looking forward to a break from school for a while, and he may continue to work while applying to different med schools across Canada.
Other than that, nothing too exciting. I hope this finds everyone staying warm!
Lots of love,
J&M&M&Baby!
