Welcome to our blog! We wanted to keep a record of our adventures and keep in touch with our friends and family that live in other cities. Matt was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta and Jennifer was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Molly joined our family in January 2007, Caleigh was born in July 2008, and Miller was born in January 2011. Since then, we have been very busy raising our family and having a little fun along the way!

So Cold....

Well, Winter is officially here. It has been so cold lately, and I don't remeber ever having this much snow in Calgary. We have not been able to enjoy the snow as the temperatures have been so miserable, but next week is supposed to be better. We bought Caleigh a sled that she hasn't been able to use yet!

We went to Saskatoon last weekend. What a great time - as usual! We got to fly this time, which was an extra special treat. Both Molly and Caleigh did great on the plane. Molly wasn't to happy being locked in her kennel, and I think Caleigh would have been quite happy to run up and down the aisle flirting with everyone on the plane, but it is a short flight so everything worked out well. I spent Friday shopping with the girls, I had such a great time. It is really nice to just spend some time with the 3 of us. Devin and Matt were supposed to watch the kids while we were gone, and we came home to the boys gone, and grandpa watching the kids! Sneaky guys... Matt, devin and Shane went out on Friday night, and I think they had quite a bit of fun. Mom and I went shopping again on Saturday, and Matt, caleigh and I went to Devin and Angie's for dinner that night. All in all, a great weekend. We got back to Calgary to find that the weekend had brought one of the worst storms Calgary has ever seen! Snow, snow and more snow. Matt and I really dodged a bullet on ethat one!

We actually went to Saskatoon this weekend for Devin. Friday we drove down to Regina to see Uncle Devin get an award. Devin was awarded a medal for bravery from the RCMP for saving some people from burning buildings after a natural gas explosion. The ceremony was really nice, it was nice to see an officer get the much deserved recognition for the work that they do on a daily basis. Matt had never been to Depot before, or an RCMP ceremony, so it was really nice for him to see that.

I can't believe that Christmas is almost here! I am almost done my shopping, just need to get a few more stocking stuffers. I think I am going to return Ashton's present and get him something different. After seeing him this weekend I realized what a big boy he is, and I think the toy we bought him will not last very long. We are going back to Saskatoon for Christmas this year, and I can hardly wait! Caleigh actually recognizes Santa and says 'Ho Ho Ho'. Very cute. We are going to stay until New Year's and join Shane for his annual Wintston's party. Should be a good time, and the free babysitting doesn't hurt!

Matt and I are going to the Flames game tonight! We are very very excited. We got amazing tickets for the game from my boss, and we are taking our friends Andy and Nat. Should be fun!

Have a Merry Christmas,
J&M&C&M

Hi. Glad you had a good time in Saskatoon. Missing a big storm in Calgary was a bonus. Hope you enjoyed the hockey game. There is no pictures of Caleigh? See you soon, Mom.
